Tea swaps: I only drink black teas. I am allergic to ginger, mango, and papaya. Earl Grey is my favorite. I love breakfast teas and Constant Comment. I like a variety of brands, especially Harney and Sons, Taylors of Harrogate, Bigelow, Twinings, and Yorkshire Gold.

colors: grey, blue, butter yellow, or whatever strikes my mood!

books: mysteries, British detective fiction (like Inspector Morse and the spin-off Inspector Lewis series), sci-fi/fantasy, art/craft/design/sewing, baking cookbooks

tv: BBC dramas, cooking shows, detective shows (but not gruesome ones), sci-fi

I love hand embroidery! Favorite embroidery designers are Aneela Hoey, September House, Sarah Jane Studios, and Charlotte Lyons. I don't like cartoony or "country" style for anything.

I love sewing, by hand and machine. I like to make table linens, bags, coasters, bookmarks, original stuffed animals, the list goes on! I also adore sewing things out of felt (eco-fi felt).

I love birds! Owls, crows, sparrows, etc.

I love hot chocolate, particularly mint hot chocolate (but fancy flavors of any sort are always fun! Just no marshmallows). I LOVE tea but am picky about what I like. A sure bet is Earl Grey or Irish Breakfast.I do not drink green tea or herbals. I like black tea and flavored black teas (but I'm allergic to ginger, so please no teas that contain ginger.)

I love paper and stationery products!

Motifs I love are teapot/teacup imagery, rain & clouds, birds; sewing related (I love my Singer sewing machine; also spools of thread, sewing needles, etc imagery), and art related (like camera or palette or brush imagery).

I love printmaking and studied it as an undergrad. In particular, I like relief printing and carving blocks. I love handprinting on fabric, too.

I make original stuffies for fun and for sale. I find myself making cats, foxes, and birds, in particular. But I love all kinds of animals and stuffies/plushies, just not creepy or morbid ones.

Classical (love the cello and piano, in particular), plus amazing classical choral music.

I also love music like Rosemary Clooney, Bing Crosby, 1940s Big Band, Cat Stevens, to name a few.

And... I love Christmas music. I may possibly have been known to listen to Christmas music in August.

I don't like creepy/morbid things or horror. I don't like cartoony things or "country-cute" things. I don't like lovey-dovey cute things.

I also don't care for "adult" x-rated items and nudity.

Allergic to wool/lanolin, mango, papaya. Severe allergy to ginger.

I am vegetarian and don't eat any meat or meat based products. This means I also don't eat anything with marshmallows in it.

I don't drink coffee. My favorite tea is Earl Grey or Irish Breakfast. I DISLIKE spearmint or chamomile tea.

I am allergic to many metals, so jewelry (unless it is made from fabric or wood) is not a good idea.
