Collective Soul---I saw them in a concert in 1999. They were playing at a local musical festival here in Montgomery. It was around the time they were coming down off their big break. Also saw Candlebox and Better Than Ezra at the same time.

My novel hasn't been published yet, but it's called "16 Years Later" (for now, anyway) and it's a sci-fi teen romance/adventure story. Girl develops weird psi powers and meets/works with/falls in love with a superhero from another universe. It's entertaining and I think the writing's pretty good. I'll send it to a few publishing types in a couple of months, and if they don't take it I'll probably just stick it online
