Description:

Remember those super fun penpal letters from back in the day!? Yeah, me too!! And I wanted to see if there was anyone as interested in them as I am!! This is my first time hosting a swap. I am open to any suggestions or questions. Please feel free to message me or send me an email. •anisha4408@gmail.com• If this goes well I will definitely do more of these and more “old school” penpal letter and different swaps.

*What is an envelope flipbook? It’s a flipbook made out of envelopes attached to each other. And filled with a letter and flat mail goodies.

SWAP DETAILS: Each person will have one partner and they will send one flipbook to their partner. Decorate it and have fun!!

THE FLIPBOOK: It needs to be made with TWO envelopes attached to each other. (I will include links below) each one needs to be decorated on the front of the book as well as each side inside the book. The back can be left blank or swap and/or contact info may be placed on the back. The book needs a closure. It can be something as simple as some string or binding tied around the book. Or something more involved like magnets or a latch.

POCKET 1: The letter needs to be at least 2 pieces of paper, front and back, so 4 pages of writing on sheets that are at least 4in X 6in. Please decorate your letter or use some fun stationary. Please include a separate mail tag with at least 3 questions or requests for your partner to answer if they decide to write back.

POCKET 2: Please fill the other pocket with at least 4 flat mail surprises. Two of these things must be based on your partner’s profile. They can all be handmade but please make sure the things you make are quality things that you would like to receive yourself. If you need any ideas or tutorials please check out Pinterest and YouTube. I will leave links below for both.

Please make sure to include your Swap-Bot name, swap name and the date somewhere on your swap easily seen.

EXTRAS: If your partner sends you a swap that follows all these rules then please rate a five. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like the actual look or decorating of the flipbook. Any problems reach out to your partner and reach out to me as well. I will try my best to angel this swap. I’m only doing USA right now but if the demand is there I will make an international one next time as well. I’m giving quite a bit of time to get these done and sent out since most people are planning for the holidays right now. Everyone is welcome to join with a well filled out profile, just make sure to do your research if you have no idea what I’m talking about and PLEASE ask me any questions no matter if you think they’re stupid. This is sender’s choice as far as decor so you can start making it right away. Please nothing religious or political unless your partner’s profile specifically states they would like it. I will check all profiles and ban as I see fit. (I don’t anticipate banning anyone unless they are not in the US)

Don’t flake, don’t be that person. Have fun and create beautiful things!!
