Description:

Here are the Scattergories for Round 17:

  • An item you’d bring to “Let’s Make a Deal” for the Quickie Deal prize at the end of the show;

  • A layout theme you might add to your scrapbook or journal;

  • Fill in the blank: I’m grateful for _______.

  • A reason you might ask for help;

  • Something related to space exploration or the solar system.

How it works:

1. Select a store-bought postcard that matches this week's letter: I (UPPER CASE "I" LIKE ICE CREAM)

Example: If the letter is V, your postcard could be from Venice or have a picture of a vase, etc.

2. Include your Swap-bot username, the name of the swap, and explain how your card connects to the theme (if it's not obvious).

3. Write answers to each category that start with this week's letter.

Notes:

Cards are Sender's Choice.

Sign-ups go through Saturday. Partners are assigned on Sunday, and cards must be mailed by the following Saturday.

Remember to mark the swap as "sent" and rate your partner promptly.

Cards should be sent "naked" – stamped and without an envelope.

Minimum rating of 4.98 and at least 20 completed Type 2 or 3 swaps are required. No unresolved issues. Must be current on all swaps to participate.

I reserve the right to make exceptions and will angel any swaps that aren't received and rated appropriately.

This series is US-only, so feel free to host an international version if you'd like.

Thanks for signing up and Happy Swapping!

NOTE:

I'm very concerned that Swap-bot has entered hospice, and we may lose the ability to log-in or contact each other in the not-too-distant future. The Bad Gateway messages are more prevalent.

I've started a free online email group for anyone who participates in my postcard swaps ... RRTPC, Scatts and Postcards With a Prompt. THIS LINK takes you to the homepage, where you can request to join.

If you're not familiar with how email groups work, read the user guide once you're on the site.

Groups.io is free to join and use. Group owners can pay for extra features, or stick with the basics and up to 100 members for free.

Let me know if you have any questions or run into any issues trying to sign up. Since Swap-bot messaging is so wonky right now, please email me directly at: ilysejohnson@gmail.com -
